For July 4th Weekend, we headed north to hang out in NYC. Much to our surprise, Jed's mom, Emlie & the girls were in the city.
On our way up, we stopped at NIK (Neighborhood Italian Kitchen) in Winchester to grab dinner on the road.
It was super late before we were able to make it up to Croton where we were staying for the night so by the time we got there all of the family was asleep.
The next day we spent hanging out with family, visiting the Blue Pig and celebrating family birthdays.
We spent our last two days hanging out in NYC, walking the streets, checking out new street art, catching Fun Home, walking the Highline and eating a lot with family.
The trip went really fast but we were excited that we would get to see almost everyone next weekend in Charlotte.
The week in between went super fast and it was great to be able to include more family for the weekend.
We didn't do anything special but we didn't have to with this crew. We all just had a great time hanging out.
Hopefully next time we can get the entire crew all in one place at the same time.
