May 19 – 22nd
Today was one of the
longest days at the office when you are about to take 2+ weeks off. As soon as
it was 5pm, we hopped in our car and started the first leg of our vacation,
#ElMrytle. After last year’s trip to #LosWaves, we decided to find another
weekend get away.
We got in late but not as
late as Evan so we all hung out and played games while we waited for him. We
were all so excited to see him that we stayed up talking and hanging out until
the sun came up! We got a few hours of sleep before we headed out to breakfast
and then spent the day walking the beach, hang out over a few drinks and an
exciting game of mini golf.
Jed and I had to get up
and out on Saturday late morning, we had an 11 hour drive to get to New York to
meet up with Eric and Audrey for the next part of our vacation. We made it as
far as Northern Virginia before we called it a night.
Sunday we finished the
drive and made it in time to grab a late lunch in the city before we headed to
JFK for our red eye flight to Keflavik, Iceland!
