Temperature High: 92 degrees
4:30AM came really quickly but we were so excited that I am not sure we got much sleep. We were headed to James Bond Island and all kinds of other water adventures. This is there low season and quite a few places were not running tours anymore, thankfully, Two Seas Tour was still operating.
These guys were fantastic. They had it all covered and made it such a memorable day.
We made it to Ao Por pier and onto the boat before the sun was even up!
We had about a hour on the boat before our first stop so we spent our time watching the incredible sunrise, snacked on a light breakfast and enjoyed to amazing scenery.
Our first stop was Panak Island. Panak Island has mangrove caves all over the place and we were able to hop onto little inflatable canoes so we could go exploring.
There are absolute no photos or videos could truly capture the tight squeeze we went through to get into the caves. There were definitely some stressful moments.
But once we got into the clearing, it was completely worth it!
The tide played a big roll in how long we stayed in the caves, they wanted to make sure we could get back out to the main boat so we were not able to stay too long.
Once we got out of the caves, we took the canoes out for a little tour.

We returned to the main boat and had another hour until we were going to get to James Bond Island.
There was so much excitement when we approached James Bond Island. Once we got close, we had to hope on a long tail boat to take us over to the island.
Our guides immediately took us to all the best stops to get the perfect pictures so we didn't have to deal with the handful of tourist that had already arrived at the island.
It was a very surreal experience and we had a great time exploring this tiny little island and was wild to realize that this tiny little beach area is such a tourist stop because of just a few second in a movie from 1974.
Once we returned back to the boat, they had a great lunch spread for us to eat while we headed to our final stop of the trip.
The last stop was on Lawa Island, a small private little beach area where we saw from the boat to the beach for a relaxing few hours, swimming, canoeing, and relaxing. It was great.
Two Seas Tour was just great and we had the best time with the entire staff.
We made it back to shore and back to the hotel in time for us to head back out to explore the area during the day. We started by hanging out at a coffee shop that over looked Patong Beach.
There were tons of people out and about and we enjoyed people watching. We finally settled down and set up to try and take some sunset pictures.
After sunset, we headed to go find dinner at a place that came highly recommended in the book and online, The Beach.

Definitely not opened for business |
After a lot of searching and double and triple checking, we realized the place we were looking for was no longer opened and we had to settle for a different restaurant, Sun Beach Cafe.

Free pizza in a bowl as an appetizer? |
Food has definitely been challenging while in Phuket, it felt pretty touristy and not authentic anywhere.
After a bit of a disappointing dinner, we headed down to Bangla Walking Street. This place was WILD! I could only image what this area is like during high season. It felt like New Orleans on steroids. There was a lot to take in and it was crazy to just watch it all. One more experience that there really aren't words to describe it.
We finished the night picking up a banana pancake off a street vendor as we headed back home to call it a night.
