May 5th
Jed and I headed east to celebrate Kelly & Adam's big day in Corolla, North Carolina. Friday night we headed to my mom's house in Chesapeake. Saturday morning, Shelby and I were able to get our hair done by a friend she works with. Shelby even lent me a dress for the wedding. It was really fun getting all "done up" for the wedding. Mom, Ben, Shelby, Korryn, Jed and I headed down to Nags Head that afternoon and were able to make it to there wedding with minutes to spare.
The wedding was beautiful! Kelly looked amazing and it was the perfect location. They got married on the peninsula over looking the water behind The
Whalehead Club in Corolla. They had an outdoor reception directly behind the Whalehead Club building. I loved all the details they put into everything. They had pictures of everyone from there wedding and tons of old pictures of Kelly and Adam. It was so impressive!
Their food spread was really impressive. We helped ourselves to bar-b-que sliders, fruits, cheeses, and Ben and Jed even tackled the oyster shots.

It wasn't long before the dance party! We danced the night away to super fun and silly songs. We had such a great time visiting with new and old friends, dancing, photo boothing and eating cake, we barely noticed the rain. We definitely didn't let us stop us.

Congratulations Kelly and Adam! Way to throw an amazing party. We will be talking about this for years to come. Can't wait for the next bash!
