This year we headed to Smith Mountain Lake State Park for our annual trip. This year felt a lot different since some families rented cabins while others continued to camp. We were spread out all over the state park but we were still able to come together, eat, play and hang out.
Friday night was great as we all got together for dinner at one of the cabins. That evening we all retreated to our cabins and tents. The people in the cabins really lucked out since that night we got a TON of rain. We got so much rain that it flooded two tents and destroyed our food tent.
A very wet and soggy morning came and we were all able to dry out some of our stuff while we were enjoying a beautiful day at the beach.
We absolutely love getting together each year and this year was particularly exciting as we added a new Green Street member, Heidi. I hope we weren't too much for her and that she will come back again next year.
